Abundance Manchester’s final fruity event this year was juicing several boxes of apples, transforming them into bottles of delicious juice.  The same day they were delivered by bicycle to Cornerstone in Moss Side, which provides meals to homeless people.  It was well received!  

Many thanks to everyone who has been involved in all aspects of Abundance Manchester so far.  Shortly we will be having a meeting to have feedback on the project and to start making lots of exciting plans for next year! A group of dedicated volunteers spent  Wednesday cooking, crumbling and juicing. Several jars of chutney (ingredients generously donated by Unicorn!), crumbles and bottles of juice were made. The produce was taken to The Destitution Project, which provides food parcels to destitute refugees.  Apparently the apple crumbles were a particular hit!
