Abundance Manchester’s final fruity event this year was juicing several boxes of apples, transforming them into bottles of delicious juice. A group of dedicated volunteers spent Wednesday cooking, crumbling and juicing. Several jars of chutney (ingredients generously donated by Unicorn!), crumbles and bottles of juice were made. The produce was taken to The Destitution Project, which provides food parcels to destitute refugees. Apparently the apple crumbles were a particular hit!
